To be labeled ground beef, a product must be at least 70% lean. At 85% ours is REALLY lean! Depending on the source, ground beef can be called ground chuck, ground sirloin, or ground round. With our ground beef you get the best of both worlds—lean meat and lots of flavor.

*** FREEZE OR USE BY DATE—What it means ***
All of our products sold on this website are sold frozen, individually vacuum-packed, shipped with dry ice. Each product is frozen on the day of production. The “use or freeze by” date means that if the product is thawed, you must use it by that date. If it is frozen by that date, it will be good for twelve (12) months. The date is formatted as a Julian date; this is a 5-digit number where the first 3 digits represent the day of the year and the last 2, the year.
