Barbecued London Broil

1/3 c. catsup
1/2 c. water
1/3 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. celery salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
3 tbsp. orange marmalade (optional)
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. crushed basil
Dash of Tabasco sauce

Combine all ingredients and place in a saucepan to simmer. Cool to room temperature. Pour over London Broil and let stand in refrigerator at least 4-5 hours. Spoon sauce over meat occasionally to baste. Warm meat and sauce to room temperature. Place 4 inches above hot coals. Broil 15 minutes on each side, basting frequently.
